There’s a particular field in North Amherst that becomes spectacularly illuminated with fireflies for a brief period of time in early summer. I was lucky enough to experience this on Friday night with Calvin, my partner and the one who happened upon this spot several year ago, and we enjoyed the flickering fireflies and stars.
I attempted to capture the beauty but fell short- only the first photo begins to represent the density of the fireflies!
